Our laser vein removal treatments are typically done in 15 minute increments and can be applied to the hands, legs, face, or other areas of the body. PRP Hair Restoration
How Does Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Aid in Hair Restoration?
The first step involves drawing blood from the patient’s arm, this is no different than you should be used to if you have ever given blood or had your blood drawn at the doctors office.

Next, the sample of blood is placed into a centrifuge, which is a machine that spins the blood in order to separate it into three parts – red blood cells, platelet-poor plasma, and platelet-rich plasma.

Finally we take the platelet-rich plasma that has been separated and we re-inject it into the scalp at the level of hair follicles that we are treating.

Because we are using the bodies own PRP there are very little risks associated with this treatment. With that being said patients should still pay attention to any injection sites for infection or injury to the blood vessels or nerves
How Soon Will I See Results From The Treatment?
Patients will first note decreased hair shedding, followed by early regrowth, and increased length of hair. Results heavily depend on consistency of treatment with an initial series of three-to-four sessions spaced four-to-six weeks apart.

Effects can then be maintained with additional PRP injections every three-to-six months.
